The course focuses on building and work of the computer operating systems. The basic princi-ples of systems' work are discussed independently of implementation. The construction of the , available shells and command interpreters are presented. Problems of process administration and memory and files organization are discussed. The mechanisms of network communications, systems client-server and safety systems and presented, as well. Properties of various in-put/output devices are analysed. Finally, the characteristic features of processes with time limi-tations are shown.
