Review of applied systems, services, standards and applications, that concerns the domian of multimedia storage and multimedia communications. Presentation of compression methods and methods used in multimedia communications, that are applied in digital phone networks, digital telesion, storage of video stream on optical discs, videoconferences, video-on-demand, digital analysis of audio and video data, specialized client-server architecture based computer systems. Programming of multimedia applications and creating of multimedia data bases.
